Starting with Audio Quality, the XTN Series, XU1100, XU2100, XU2600, XV1100, XV2100, XV2600, is fantastic. New chips, an optimized cabinet, and higher rated speakers provide excellent audio clarity at both low and high volumes. The XTN Series radios are Rugged. They are weather-proof, shock-proof, drop proof and built around MIL Spec 810 and IP54 standards. These radios can take on the harshest of conditions. Battery life is great. The NiMH battery lasts up to 13 hours on the 2 Watt models, 15 hours on the 1 Watt models. In a pinch, you can also use standard AA batteries that provide up to 22 hours Click
